Health and Nutrition
SEDI is a pivotal health organization in Tanzania, enhancing the wellbeing of over 3.5 million vulnerable children. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Health and key stakeholders, SEDI implements programs focused on Maternal, Newborn & Child Health (MNCH). These efforts aim to create demand for and improve the quality of health services. The primary issues in MNCH and Nutrition stem from preventable causes such as poor maternal and child practices, inadequate use of cost-effective interventions, substandard health services, and limited skills among healthcare providers.
