Who We Are

SEDI is a development organization committed to fostering positive change across Africa. It was officially registered in Tanzania in August 2024, under registration number OO/NGO/R/7299, in accordance with the Non-Governmental Organizations Act of 2002, specifically sections 11(1) and 17(2) of Act No. 24 of 2002. 

At SEDI, we prioritize three key areas: Private Sector Strengthening, Food Security and Resilience, and Technology & Innovation. By addressing these critical issues, we strive to build a more equitable and prosperous future. 

Our approach is deeply rooted in community engagement, ensuring that the people we serve play an active role in the development process. We collaborate closely with local stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and private sector partners, to ensure our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs and priorities of the community.
